The Clouds page

This is the connections management page. It lists the currently configured connections and the username of the account the connection is registered with. It also shows a status indicating whether the connection is active or not.

Also displayed is the responsiveness the connection. This is based on the round trip delay, in seconds, of messages between the UAS and cloud.aculab.com. Displayed are the Maximum, Minimum and Average time. The statistics are illustrated by colour coded icons next to the values on the connections page. By default Maximum will go to amber at 5 seconds and to red at 10 seconds; Minimum at 1 seconds and 2 seconds; Average at 2 seconds and 4 seconds. This information is also available using the UAS monitor.

This page also allows the user to add new connections, edit an existing connection, or remove a connection.

To add a new connection press the ‘Add a cloud’ button and fill in the details.

The Username and Password should correspond to an existing user account on the specified connection. If the account details supplied match those on the chosen connection, the UAS attaches to it and passes it a list of the applications available to run.
